Marsh praises the performance and says that they learnt the conditions from the first game against Oman and will keep learning in the next matches also.
“Very pleased, allround game was outstanding, great game. The powerplay was the difference in the game, we learnt lessons from the first game, to trust our games. We'll keep learning in these conditions, keep improving and keep progressing through the tournament,” Cummins said.
Australia bowled really well in the chase. Marsh praises the bowlers specially Pat Cummins. Cummins took 2 wickets for just 23 runs in 4 overs. England were able to score just 165 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 36 runs.
“The bowlers did their thing, we have an experienced group. Patty was outstanding, tough end to bowl with the wind going across. Needed hard overs from the big guns,” Cummins added.
Australia have won both the matches they played till now against Oman and England.
