Pakistan national cricket team pacer Hasan Ali has thrown his weight behind former captain Babar Azam who continues to face scrutiny over his recent form. Speaking after Karachi Kings’ loss to Lahore Qalandars in the ongoing PSL 2025 Hasan not only stood by his viral ‘King Kar Lega’ remark but also reaffirmed his unwavering support for the former Pakistan captain.

In the post-match press conference the 30-year-old seamer shrugged off the backlash he received for calling Babar a "king." Laughing off the criticism, Hasan said:
"I am at that stage of my career where nothing hurts me. I’ve been through difficult times. We made him a king, and we’re the ones behind him.” he said.
When asked if he regrets using the term ‘king’ for Babar, Hasan responded with a clever twist:
"If he won’t score runs based on what I say, then I say the ‘King Nahi Kare Ga’,” he said with a grin, clearly unbothered by internet jabs. “If you think I made a mistake, I apologize to everyone.”
While Babar Azam’s recent performances have come under the spotlight especially in Pakistan's international outings and PSL 2025 Hasan reminded everyone that every cricketer has phases of poor form.
"My statement is the same he is the best, he was the best, and he will come out of this stage.”
Hasan also highlighted the emotional toll of extreme fan criticism especially when it crosses the line: “Criticism for improvement is fine, but when families are targeted, it affects everyone. As public figures, we’re always under scrutiny, but our job is to respond with performances.”
