Delhi Capitals bowling coach Munaf Patel has been fined by the BCCI for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during his team's heart-stopping Super Over win over Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday night.

Munaf Patel accepted a Level 1 offence against Article 2.20—behaviour against the game's spirit—and the punishment as proposed by the umpire.

On Code of Conduct breaches at the Level 1 level, the decision of the umpire shall be binding and final.

Even though it was a hefty penalty, Munaf won't be left utterly dismayed because his bowlers played spectacularly for the Delhi Capitals in the close, drawn game against Rajasthan Royals.
