Gazi Group scored 301 runs in their 50 overs after being put in to bat first. They lost 9 wickets during this time. Shamsur Rahman led the way with a calm 84 off 90 balls, and Salman Hossain Emon lit up the last few deliveries of the game with a lightning-fast 51 off just 27 balls.
Also, Munim Shahriar (35 off 33) and Shamim Mia (42 off 42) scored runs that helped the team build a good base. Sumon Khan of Brothers Union stood out with the ball and took 4 wickets despite the heavy hitting.
In response, Brothers Union got off to a good start with a run-a-ball 55 from Mahfijul Islam Robin, but it was Zahiduzzaman Khan's amazing century that really took the game by storm. His 122 off of 92 balls kept the chase going, but the other team didn't help him.
As soon as Zahiduzzaman and his team fell on 206, the chase was over. Brothers Union lost by 51 runs when they were bowled out for 250 runs in 47.4 overs. It was clear that Wasi Siddiquee was the star of the second innings. He tore through the middle and lower order to finish with 6 wickets, which won the game.
