West Indian cricket great Viv Richards, who now mentoring the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, describes Pakistan as his second home.

Cricket icon Sir Viv Richards has just marked his tenth PSL anniversary. Amidst the celebration, he spent a moment of affection with host Erin Holland and retired cricketer Wasim Akram. He spoke affectionately of his relationship with Pakistan, calling it his "second home."

When questioned regarding his experience in Pakistan, overseeing the franchise for the last decade, Richards was full of praise for the Pakistanis and everyone who was part of the tournament.

Sir Viv Richards has been associated with the PSL right from its start. Through the years, not only has he won the hearts of fans with his cricket acumen, but also with the respect and affection with which he treats Pakistan and the people. His presence has been invaluable to the league, and he has become an icon of experience and intelligence in the cricketing fraternity.

Speaking about the Quetta Gladiators' performance in PSL 10, the West Indian legend said that the team is hopeful of winning their next matches.

"It [cricket] has been good. Except for the defeat we experienced in Islamabad, we appear to be getting back on our feet. As you can see here tonight, Karachi made a good start, but I believe we've come back well and should be able to win if we're good enough," he added.

It's interesting to mention that the 10th season of the Pakistan Super League kicked off on April 11 with the first match between defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
