New Zealand crushed South Africa by 6 wickets to book their place at the final of the ODI Tri-series. South Africa's debutant batter Matthew Breeztke slammed a record-breaking 150 to help his side get to 304 on the board. In reply, Kane Williamson's fantastic 133* and Devon Conway's 97 steered the Kiwis home.

Being inserted to bat first, South Africa lost their skipper Temba Bavuma earlier on. But opener Matthew Breeztke J Smith stitched a fine partnership of 93 runs between them before J Smith fell to an unlucky run-out after his well-made 41. Michael Bracewell then knocked over wicketkeeper batter Kyle Verreynne as South Africa fell into further trouble.

However, Wiaan Mulder and Breeztke kept steering the ship, whereas Breeztke brought up his hundred on his ODI debut. Mulder made 64 but Breeztke was on a different planet, slamming a record-breaking 150 off only 148 deliveries and helping his side get to 304 on the board.

In reply, New Zealand got a decent start through Will Young and Devon Conway, before the former one was dismissed by Eathen Bosch. New batter Kane Williamson looked positive from the word go, hitting here and there and scoring at a good tilt. The duo added a massive 187-run stand between them, which ultimately changed the course of the game.

Kane Williamson got to his hundred at a strike rate of 140. While Devon Conway too motored his way out but fell 3 runs short from his hundred but that didn’t stop the Kiwis from chasing this down as Kane Williamson remained unbeaten on 133* to guide New Zealand home.
