We know 130, 140, 150 runs games very well: Shakib
No matter how large the target or how batting-friendly the surface is, Bangladesh's run total is always within striking distance of 150. Shakib Al Hasan, the team's standout cricket player, acknowledges that Bangladesh has a side that is competitive in the 140–150 game.

Bangladesh plays a significant number of matches at Mirpur Stadium, where they win T20 matches with 140-150 runs. The Bangladesh team, which have played more matches at this venue, seems to be stuck in the score of 140-150. In the 2024 T20 World Cup, this is more clear.
No matter how large the target or how batting-friendly the surface is, Bangladesh's run total is always within striking distance of 150. Shakib Al Hasan, the team's standout cricket player, acknowledges that Bangladesh has a side that is competitive in the 140–150 game.
Bangladesh lost to India by 50 runs on Saturday (22nd June) in Antigua. India posted a massive 196 on the board earlier on. Hardik Pandya's breezy fifty, Rishabh Pant, Shivam Dube and Virat Kohli's mid 30's helped them get to this huge total. For Bangladesh, Tanzim Hasan Sakib bowled an exceptional spell but other bowlers leaked away too many runs on the decent surface in Antigua. In reply, India were excellent with the ball and Jasprit Bumrah once again stood tall, with Kuldeep Yadav showed his masterful bowling display to beat Bangladesh.
Although the team's bowling attack is in form, Shakib feels that they have to struggle with this bowling on flat wickets as well. He said, “When we get a bit of advantage on the wicket, our bowling attack is much better. There are a lot of room for improvement on a flat track. Since the wicket was in favor this time, we bowled brilliantly. Credit must be given to the bowlers. There is no reason to take that credit away. But when we play on a flat track, we struggle a bit.”
Batters have to give a big test especially on sporting wickets. Shakib added, “If we play on a flat track, we perform poorly in batting. We know 130, 140, 150 runs games very well. Because we are used to playing such games. We are familiar with it. If it goes to 180-190-200, that kind of thinking doesn’t come to our mind.”
