Sri Lanka's Asia Cup squad to play a practice match on Friday

The foreign coaching staff members were holidaying in their respective countries during the Lanka Premier League (LPL) season in Sri Lanka.
"The part of the pool selected for the Asia Cup has begun training from today (Wednesday) at the SSC ground,” one of the sources revealed. The team is yet to be announced officially.
"The players are not officially grouped. At present they are coming from their respective homes. They will assemble on 27th and leave for Kandy and the regular practice sessions will begin from August 28th.”
"We have planned a practice match among these players on Friday and is likely to be played at the SSC ground,” an insider said.
