West Indies' batsman Nicholas Pooran will be a crucial player for the team if they are to win a record third T20 World Cup title. Pooran's impressive form during the Indian Premier League and his 75 off 25 balls in the team's warm-up game against Australia will give West Indies fans hope ahead of the tournament.

The team has a rich history of success in T20 cricket, having won the title twice before, including back-to-back victories in 2012 and 2016. Pooran, who made his debut after the second T20 World Cup win, is eager to bring the title home again, this time in front of their fans. The 2024 T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by the West Indies and the USA, providing the team with an opportunity to make history on their home turf.

"I feel like everybody wants that moment again. They want to be a part of that winning feeling. Doing it in front of our fans is even more special."
