Rohit Sharma hopes that India will be able to win the high-octane Test series against England, which begins from June 20.
Recently India have been thrashed by Australia in the five-match Test series by 3-1. However, Rohit Sharma believes that his side will be able to give England tough fight.
"Absolutely, last time we played these guys, it was 2-2 in the series," he said.
Rohit added that India's chances would improve if both the pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami remain fit.
"Yeah, we need some of these guys to be 100% fit. We’ll have a great series, and I know the kind of cricket these guys are playing these days. It’ll definitely be a good challenge for us."
Rohit also revealed that the toughest pacer he faced in the last Australia tour.
"Boland was the toughest to face in those conditions. When we checked his pitch map, 90% of his deliveries were just on the spot – no width, no full balls, maybe a few, but not many,” Rohit told Michael Clarke on the Beyond23 Cricket Podcast.
Boland played a crucial role in the Australia's excellent comeback during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, picking up 21 wickets in just three matches as he helped his side overturn a 1-0 deficit to win the series by 3-1.
