The Asia Cup is knocking at the door. And after two days, the biggest cricket tournament in Asia will start. This year's Asia Cup will begin with Nepal's match against Pakistan on August 30. Bangladesh umpire Masudur Rahman Mukul will be seen in the role of on-field umpire in that match.

This umpire from Bangladesh faithfully served as the on-field umpire in the two matches between India and Pakistan in last year's Asia Cup. This year, however, he has not received the responsibility of the India-Pakistan match.

Richard Illingworth and Ruchira Palliyaguruge will be the on-field umpires in the much-awaited India-Pakistan match. TV umpire will be Paul Wilson, fourth umpire Jayaraman Madanagopal. The match referee in this match is Javagal Srinath.

Srinath is also in the role of match referee in the match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on August 31. Paul Wilson and Jayaraman Madanagopal will be on-field umpires in that match. Besides, the fourth umpire is Ruchira Palliyaguruge.

Apart from the Pakistan-Nepal and Bangladesh-Afghanistan matches, Mukul will officiate in one more match. He will be the fourth umpire in the final match of the group stage between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan on September 5.
