Bangladesh Test captain Mominul Haque played his first game of the season for Prime Bank but failed to make a mark as he made 15 off 34 in his side's 38-run defeat. For Abahani, Mahmudul Hasan Joy (21) and Litton Das (30) got starts but could not make it big.
With contributions from all first seven batters, Abahani put on 271/7. Hanuma Vihari top scored with 58 while skipper Mosaddek Hossain made 40. Mosaddek's run-out caused scenes at the ground after fans showed outrage over the decision, halting the play in the process.
Prime Bank did not have any telling score except for Mohammad Mithun, who struck his second List A hundred making 95-ball 103 runs with 8 fours and 5 sixes.

Rupganj Tigers won their fifth game of the tournament after chasing a mere 206 against Gazi Group, finalising their spot in Super League while Gazi Group will now have to wait on Mohammedan's result on the next day.
Nasum Ahmed (2/22) and Fazle Mahmud Rabbi (74) starred for Rupganj at BKSP. Mehedi Maruf made an uncharacteristical 112-ball 56 for Gazi Group having known for his ability to score runs quickly, which he did in the past matches.
