Australia have won the toss and elected to bowl first against Bangladesh in their last group-stage match in the ICC ODI World Cup on Saturday (November 11) in Pune.
Both the teams have made several changes to their squad. Australia have given rest to Glenn Maxwell, who struggled with cramps in the last match against Afghanistan and Mitchell Starc. Steve Smith is back in the squad after recovering from a vertigo issue. Sean Abbot also gets a chance for the first time in this tournament.
Bangladesh have made three changes. As regular captain Shakib Al Hasan is ruled out of the tournament due to a finger injury, Mahedi Hasan replaces him in the playing XI. Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Shoriful Islam also miss out as Nasum Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman are playing this match.
Australia have already confirmed their place in the semifinals winning 6 out of their 8 matches. On the other hand, Bangladesh have been eliminated from the tournament winnings juts 2 matches out of 8 till now. But they have all to play for to secure a place in the Champions Trophy 2025.
