The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had previously declared that Tamim would be honoured following the final, and the board extended a spectacular farewell to him. Tamim was presented with a unique memento, consisting of his jersey and a printed career statistics page, by BCB president Faruque Ahmed and Youth & Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan. He clarified, "I have won the trophy twice, but players such as Hridoy have participated in 2-3 finals without winning." The same is true for Shanto. This trophy is of greater significance to them. I desired to pay tribute to them. Shanto, the commander of the national squad, was unable to participate as a result of the team's composition. I am aware that it was difficult for him, but he never expressed it, which made our task simpler.

Tamim also commended the Chittagong Kings for their remarkable performance in the BPL 2025, stating, "No one envisaged them playing in such a manner." Even I was taken aback.
