After eight years, the ICC Champions Trophy is coming back. Pakistan will host the competition in 2025. PCB had earlier made available a draft grouping. It was reported that the "A" group of the competition will include New Zealand, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India. The tournament's draft schedule is now public knowledge. The schedule states that on February 20, Bangladesh’s Champions Trophy would begin with a game versus India.

According to the suggested schedule, the Champions Trophy will begin on February 19. On the first day of play, Pakistan, the hosts, will welcome New Zealand in Karachi, according to the British newspaper The Telegraph. The Tigers' game versus India took place in Lahore the next day. Following a three-day interval, Bangladesh's encounter with Pakistan. On February 24, the hosts and Tigers will play in Rawalpindi. After a two-day break, Bangladesh's final group-round matchup is against New Zealand. This match will take place in Lahore.

Bangladesh played in the semi-finals in the last edition of the Champions Trophy. They lost to India in that match. As per the draft schedule, the Champions Trophy final will be held on March 9. March 10 is the reserve day for the final. The matches will be held in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi.
