The SLC is now planning to introduce five overseas players virtually to the media on Wednesday, the rest day in the tournament.
All five teams have been asked to nominate one overseas player for media introduction.
Shoaib Malik is likely to be the Jaffna Stallions' choice subject to Pakistani all-rounder's consent.
SLC will also virtually introduce five head coaches of these teams to the media on December 6, which also happens to be the rest day in the tournament.
Herschelle Gibbs (Colombo Kings), Moin Khan (Galle Gladiators), Hashan Tillakaratne (Kandy Tuskers), Owais Shah (Dambulla Viiking) and Thilina Kandamby (Jaffna Stallions) will be requested to make themselves available.
