On Monday, Tamim Iqbal collapsed shortly right after flipping the coin during a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match at BKSP Ground No. 3 between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Shinepukur Cricket Club. This shocked the cricket community in Bangladesh.

When Tamim, who was captain of Mohammedan, went out for the toss, he looked fine.  But when he got back to the changing room, he said he was in a lot of pain.  Within seconds, his situation got worse, and he passed out, making people worry that he was having a heart attack.

He was supposed to be taken to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka by helicopter, but he collapsed again just before getting on board.  Because of the risk, the medical team rushed him to a hospital in Savar that was close by and put him on life support.

Even though people were shocked, the DPL match went on, and Mohammedan won by 7 wickets.  But as soon as the game was over, Tamim's long-time friends Mahmudullah Riyad and Mushfiqur Rahim went straight to the hospital to be with him.  The coaches and support team for Mohammedan joined them, showing how much they cared about their captain.

After hours of nervous waiting, Tamim woke up and called his family, which made his fans and teammates feel better.
