Bangladesh Red beat Bangladesh Green in Independence Day exhibition match
Bangladesh Red chose to bat first and scored a respectable 110 runs in the 10 overs they were given. One four and three sixes helped Mehrab Hossain Opi, a former opener for the national team, lead the way with 35 runs off of 20 balls. Hannan Sarkar did a great job of supporting by hitting 25 runs in just 11 balls, five of which were fours.

On Bangladesh's Independence Day, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) arranged a special exhibition match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday (March 26). The fast-paced T10 version of the game saw Bangladesh Red, led by former captain Akram Khan, beat Bangladesh Green, led by Minhajul Abedin Nannu, by 27 runs.

Foysal Hossain Dicance scored 17 runs off of 7 balls, Abdur Razzak hit 11 runs off of 14 balls without being out, and Dollar Mahmud scored 9 runs off of 4 balls. It was Mohammad Rafique, Hasibul Hossain Shanto, and Mushfiqur Rahaman Babu who took a wicket each for Bangladesh Green.
Bangladesh Green needed to score 111 runs but could only get 83/5 in 10 overs. Talha Jubair scored the most with 29 runs off of 12 balls, including three fours and two sixes. Mohammad Rafique, an experienced all-rounder, added 25 runs off of 17 balls. Their hard work did not, however, help their team cross the finish line.
Abdur Razzak and Foysal Hossain Dicance were Bangladesh Red's best bowlers. Each took two wickets, which helped their team win easily in this celebratory match.
