Bangladesh 'A' and India 'A' teams are playing the second and final unofficial Test match of the series at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. At the end of the third day's play, Bangladesh 'A' team are trailing by 261 runs in the second innings.

India started the day's play with 324 runs for 5 wickets. Captain Abhimanyu Easwaran and Jayant Yadav started the day well together. After reaching 150 runs, Easwaran was dismissed by Musfik Hasan. He played an impeccable innings of 157 runs off 248 balls before getting out.

After Easwaran's dismissal, Jayant was playing great with Saurabh Kumar. The two put together an effective partnership of 86 runs. Saurabh scored a quick fifty. On the other hand, Jayant also picked up a fifty. Sourav went back to the dressing room after playing an attacking innings of 55 runs off 39 balls.

Then, Umesh Yadav accompanied Jayant well. After playing an innings of 18 runs from 45 balls, Umesh departed when the team’s score was 475 runs. After a while, Jayant was also dismissed after scoring 83 runs.

But the last wicket pair of Navdeep Saini and Mukesh Kumar sent Bangladesh to complete backfoot in the match. They made an unbeaten 68-run partnership before the declaration at 562/9. India took the lead of 310 runs. Saini and Mukesh remained unbeaten on 50 and 23 runs, respectively. Musfik and Hasan Murad both took 3 wickets each for Bangladesh. Sumon Khan got two wickets and Mominul had one.

Bangladesh started off poorly in the second innings. Zakir Hasan, who was called up for the first time in the national team's Test squad, returned quickly. He got out after scoring 12 runs off 17 balls. After that, another opener Shadman Islam was playing well with Mahmudul Hasan Joy. Both were playing cautiously. But Saurabh dismissed Joy in the last phase of the day’s play and Bangladesh finished the day at 49/2 in 30 overs. Shadman and Mominul will resume the last day to save the match for the team.
