ICC has announced its star-studded commentary panel for the India-Australia summit. Ravi Shastri, Ricky Ponting and Ian Bishop are some of the stars of the 15-member panel.
An elite list of commentators has been named for the final of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 in Ahmedabad.
A commentary panel comprising several connoisseurs and experts of the game has been announced for the final of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The team includes Kass Naidoo, Ravi Shastri, Ricky Ponting, Ian Smith, Sanjay Manjrekar, Aaron Finch, Nasser Hussain, Harsha Bhogle, Dinesh Karthik, Matthew Hayden, Eoin Morgan, Ian Bishop, Shane Watson, Sunil Gavaskar and Mark Howard World-class coverage about the final showdown of the top event.
The famous voice of Ravi Shastri will electrify the much-anticipated toss while the expert knowledge of Nasser Hussain and Sanjay Manjrekar will shed light on what Ahmedabad's 22-yard pitch has to offer.
The officials for the epic finale were also confirmed on Friday. Richard Illingworth and Richard Kettleborough will act as field umpires, with Joel Wilson as third umpire. Chris Gaffaney will take on the role of fourth umpire, while match referee Andy Pycroft will oversee the final.
India and Australia will face each other in the final, which will be a repeat of the 2003 World Cup. The hosts India have so far been unstoppable with ten out of ten wins before the game.
Australia, on the other hand, were in last place in the table after defeats in the first two games, but then remained comfortably undefeated on the way to the final.
