At various times, various things are heard in the country's cricket arena about the cricket pipeline of Bangladesh. In reality, the cricketers of Bangladesh High Performance and Tigers are the pipeline in the country. The camps of these two teams are going to start soon.

High Performance team cricketers are usually below 23 years of age. On the other hand, for Bangladesh Tigers, over 23-year-olds are selected. Bangladesh HP and Tigers team will participate in several series including Emerging Asia Cup. The selector Habibul Bashar Sumon spoke to the media keeping that in mind.

Talking to the media, Bashar said, "We try to keep our High Performance team below 23 years. In the Tigers team, we keep players above 23 years of age who are playing well, who perform well in domestic cricket. This time also the work of High Performance is progressing constructively. Management is changing. A new coach is coming. We hope that our new cricketers will benefit from this.”

HP cricketers will get the opportunity to play several series including the Emerging Asia Cup. Bashar also said about the goal of playing well in those games, "This year we will have many games. I think we haven't had a lot of games in the last few years. They can also build themselves up by playing more matches and we can also check who is ready to go to the next level.''

Bashar added, “Actually our High Performance team plays as under-23 team in the Emerging Asia Cup. There is an option to play 3 over 23. But this year we haven't decided yet but we'd like to have our under-23 High Performance team playing. We want success because those who are in the High Performance team now are our future. We have high expectations from them. Whatever the performance, we want to give them a chance. Bangladesh played in the finals of the Emerging Asia Cup, but could not become champions. This time there will be hope if we can become champion then it will be very good. But the main objective will be to give our future cricketers a good competition.”

There are some differences in the formation process of Bangladesh Tigers, which created a lot of discussion last year. The team will be formed with the priority of future national team cricketers. The emphasis in preparation will be on skill training.

Bashar said in this regard, "Last year (Tigers) was different. A cricketer seems to have benefited a lot from that. One cricketer we got is Rony Talukdar. He seems to have benefited a lot from that Tigers camp. The Tigers' training camp took a lot of work to get back into shape. This year we want to make the team a little smaller. This year's Tigers will probably take those who will play in the national team in the future. A long camp might not happen. There will be skill training.”

Bashar also said about the possibility of Jamie Siddons being the head coach of Bangladesh Tigers, "Jamie Siddons will be the head coach. All is not finalized yet though. There will be a few other coaches along with the bowling coach. This time skill practice will be more.”

Camps for Tigers and HP will start in between the national team, 'A' team games. Detailed information including the new management will be announced shortly.
