The inaugural edition of Bangabandhu T20 Cup 2020 has concluded with Gemcon Khulna defeating Gazi Group Chattogram in a close final on Friday. Bangabandhu T20 Cup 2020: Awards list

Each member of the winning side Khulna gets BDT 150,000 (USD 1770 approx.), while each member of Chattogram squad gets BDT 75,000 (USD 885 approx.). Khulna skipper Mahmudullah Riyad was the player of the final for scoring a career-best 70* runs from 48 balls to script his team's title win. Chattogram’s Mustafizur Rahman has earned himself two awards - player of the tournament and the best bowler of the tournament. He bagged the most 22 wickets at an average of 11.25 in 10 matches. His economy was a healthy 6.25 runs per over.

The Fizz's team-mate Liton Das was also in line for player of the tournament. Liton won the best batsman award for finishing up as the leading run-scorer. The right-handed classy looking batsman aggregated 393 runs at an average of 49.12 with three fifties in ten games. His strike rate was slightly on the lower side - 119.45. Meanwhile, Chattogram pacer Shoriful Islam, Minister Group Rajshahi captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, Beximco Dhaka spinner Robiul Islam Robi and Fortune Barishal batsman Parvez Hossain Emon were awarded 'special performance award' Shoriful was the joint-third highest wicket-taker with 16 wickets. Robiul was the sixth with 13 scalps. Najmul and Parvez had made centuries in the entertaining Rajshahi-Barishal encounter.
