Sri Lanka announce squad for Bangladesh Tests

have announced 18-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against
at home. This will be the last ICC World Test Championship league stage series.

All-rounder Angelo Mathews has returned to the side. He had pulled out during the ODI series against
last month due to family reasons.
Sri Lankan selectors have included uncapped
in the squad and will replace Lasith Embuldeniya, who is out due to injury. The 22-year-old Jayawickrama is a slow left arm orthodox bowler.
Dhananjaya de Silva will be the vice-captain alongside the regular captain Dimuth Karunaratne.
and Kusal Perera are not included in the team.
Pacer
has also been included in the squad after he missed the West Indies tour due to positive Covid-19 result. Other pacer
seeks paternity leave and rules himself out of the Bangladesh series.
The series begins on April 21, with the second Test to follow on April 29. Pallekele International Stadium will host the two matches.
