Chasing the target, Kennar Lewis was gone for a golden duck in the first over. But Brendon King and Shamarh Brooks made a match-winning 86-run partnership in the second wicket to ease the chase for the team.

Brooks got out just before his half-century. He scored 47 runs off 33 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes. Captain Rovman Powell came to the crease after Brooks’ dismissal. He didn't have to take any pressure as King alone made almost all required runs then. King, who hit 13 fours and 2 sixes, was unbeaten on 83 runs from 50 balls and became the player of the tournament.
