The United States does not have much of a reputation in cricket. In women's cricket, they still managed to make it to the World Cup, but in men’s cricket, they have yet to make a name for themselves in any major competitive tournament. However, this time the United States will fight in the World Cup qualifiers in the same tournament against teams like West Indies, Sri Lanka.

And Major League Cricket (MLC) is the biggest step in the development of cricket in the country. The star cricketers of the world are writing their names in this tournament.

The MLC authorities themselves have requested the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to grant clearance to Pakistani cricketers in the MLC. Two Pakistani cricketers have already signed with the MLC team Seattle Orcas. This franchise is owned by a company in India, GMR Group. The company also owns IPL's Delhi Capitals.

The two Pakistani cricketers signed by Seattle are all-rounder Imad Wasim and wicket-keeper batter Azam Khan. Apart from these two Pakistani cricketers, more star cricketers have finalized their contracts with the team. They are former South African captain Quinton de Kock, Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza and Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka.

On the other hand, PCB has already imposed conditions for giving clearance to national team cricketers in MLC. The cricket board demanded 25 thousand US dollars for each player's clearance. This means that the PCB's huge amount of money is again an Indian-owned franchise, so it is not yet known whether Pakistani cricketers will be allowed to play in the league. However, as Imad and Azam do not currently have a contract with the national team, they will not face any obstacles.

It should be noted that for the first time, Major League Cricket will start on July 13. It will end on July 30. Pakistan also have a series with Sri Lanka this July. So there is a high possibility that the Pakistani cricketers of the national team will not be seen in the MLC.
