Former South African pacer and current USA cricketer, Rusty Theron, has accused Haris Rauf of ball tampering during the T20 World Cup match between Pakistan and the USA. The match, held at Grand Prairie Stadium, saw Pakistan suffer a surprising defeat in the group stage on Thursday.

Despite Rauf conceding 37 runs from his four overs, he managed to take a crucial wicket of Andries Gous. The controversy began when Pakistan changed the ball after 12 overs, with the USA at 94/1. Following the ball change, the USA batsmen quickly scored a four and a six off Shaheen Afridi.

In the 15th over, Haris Rauf delivered a good length ball that reversed slightly, hitting the top of the off-stump and dismissing Gous. This wicket was crucial for Pakistan, but immediately after the dismissal, Theron asked the ICC to look into the matter as he questioned their ability to reverse the ball, which had just changed.
