The news of national team cricketer Hasan Mahmud suffering from dengue has caused confusion. Although the medical department of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) reported that Hasan is dengue positive, Hasan claims that the latest report has come negative for dengue.

Hasan had a fever and other symptoms of dengue for the past few days. An unnamed source from BCB's medical department told to BDCricTime that Hasan's dengue test results came positive on July 30. However, Hasan said that his dengue test results came back negative.

Hasan posted the dengue test report on July 28 in the form of a story on his Facebook page. The report was negative. However, he deleted the story after a while.

However, sources in the medical department said that Hasan's platelets were decreasing for 3 days. There were other symptoms of dengue fever. However, according to the advice of doctors, he is currently stable.
