It is already known by all that the
Premier League (BPL) governing council have stripped off the Barisal based franchise from the forth coming season of the tournament as they failed to put up the required appearance fee. However, the owner of Barisal Bulls, Abdul Awal, said that they were confident of appearing in the next edition of BPL by paying off their debts by next week.

"We just wanted few more days. We hope to appear in the tournament by paying off our debts by next week,"
he said. Meanwhile, the secretary of the tournament governing council, Ismail Haider Mallick refuted Barisal Bulls owners expectation of making a comeback as he said,
"There is no scope for them to return. We had extended their deadline on two occasions before taking this decision and we will stick to it "
Afzalur Rahman Sinha who is the chairman of the BPL governing council said 7th August was the deadline for Barisal Bulls for submitting their dues.
"During the last board meeting we had given them August 7 as deadline for submitting their dues but as they failed to do so, we have to take this decision,"
 he said.
"We have to prepare the fixture for the next edition while we have to take other preparation as well. So we decided to host the upcoming BPL with seven teams,"
he added.
