Australia will play 15 international matches (6 Tests, 3 ODIs and 6 T20Is) between November 2021 and February 2022.
The one-off Afghanistan Test will be played at Hobart's Blundstone Arena from November 27 to kick off the international season.
The Ashes will begin on December 8, at The Gabba. Adelaide Oval will host the day-night second Test before the series heads to Boxing Day Melbourne Test and New Year's Sydney Test. Perth's Optus Stadium will host the fifth and final Test on January 14-18. This will be the ground's first Ashes Test.
In space of 12 days, Australia will take on New Zealand for three ODIs (as part of Cricket World Cup Super League) and a one-off T20I affair. Sri Lanka will tour to play five T20Is from February 11 to 20.
Australia is still one of the countries least affected by COVID-19. Nationwide vaccination might allow Australia hosting close to full capacities although border restrictions are still in place.
