21 Bangladeshis signed up in the PSL players’ draft. However, the complete list of who is in which category was not published. This time the PSL authorities have released the names of the cricketers of all categories one by one. There are 15 cricketers from Bangladesh in the gold and silver categories. Among them 6 are in Gold and 9 are in Silver category. 

Among the Bangladeshis, 9 cricketers in the silver category are Enamul Haque Vijay, Mohammad Mithun, Mosaddek Hossain, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Mahedi Hasan, Ripon Mondol, Soumya Sarkar, Sabbir Rahman, Ziaur Rahman. Apart from Ripon, all of them have experience in international cricket.

It was seen that Shakib Al Hasan is in the highest-paid platinum category in the list published earlier. Mahmudullah Riyad, Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taskin Ahmed, Tamim Iqbal are in the second highest-paid diamond category. Najmul Hossain Shanto, Nasum Ahmed, Afif Hossain, Towhid Hridoy, Shoriful Islam and Muktar Ali got places in the Gold category. Everyone here except Muktar is the regular face of the national team.

458 cricketers from 22 countries have registered their names in the draft for the upcoming season of PSL. There are 46 people in the platinum category, and 76 cricketers have got placed in diamond category. Shakib is the only cricketer from Bangladesh in the highest-paid platinum category.

The PSL draft will be held on December 13 at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. The reigning champions of the tournament are Lahore Qalandars.
