But so far the ICC has not been able to formulate a protocol for the selection of the next chairman. The 17-member ICC board could not come to a decision despite repeated meetings on who will contest the elections and who will be the candidates.
Monday was the 17-member ICC board meeting to elect the chairman. But despite long discussions, the meeting ended inconclusively as no decision could be reached. At the next meeting, all the members will attend the meeting again in the hope of fixing the nomination for the post of the next chairman of the ICC.
