Mohammedan Sporting Club beat Agrani Bank by 7 wickets thanks to a brilliant century from Rony Talukdar and a clean chase that was held with calm.

Mohammedan chose to bowl first when they played at the BKSP No. 3 Ground, and it paid off, even though Agrani Bank got off to a good start.

Agrani Bank got off to a good start with 82 runs from openers Imran Uzzaman and Amite Hasan.  Imran Uzzaman scored 38 runs and Amite got 40, which set the stage for a big score.  But the middle order wasn't able to make the most of it.

Captain Imrul Kayes got the most runs with 41, and Marshall Ayub added a steady 31.  Many wickets fell, though, and Agrani Bank could only get to 240/9 in 42 overs.

The best bowler for Mohammedan was Mohammad Saifuddin, who took 4 wickets.  Mustafizur Rahman got two and Ebadot Hossain claimed three.

In response, Mohammedan's openers Rony Talukdar and Anisul Islam Emon made it easy for the other team to get runs with a brilliant 199-run stand.  Rony's 122 runs off of just 100 balls, which included 10 fours and 5 sixes, won the game.  With 75 runs, Anisul did a great job of supporting.

The target was easily reached, even though Mahmudullah Riyad was out for only 7 runs and Tawfique Khan Tushar added 27 runs off of 22 balls.  With three wickets down and 3.2 overs to spare, Mohammedan won with Saifuddin (5*) and Towhid Hridoy (2*) still not out.

Arif Ahmed was the only Agrani Bank bowler who really stood out. He took all three wickets.
