Cricket returns to the country through the BCB President's Cup after a long hiatus due to coronavirus. However, the BCB President’s Cup was a short event. After that tournament, BCB organized Bangabandhu T20 Cup with the tough challenge of bio-bubble. This well-organized tournament also gained popularity among the spectators.
Mushfiqur thanked BCB for such a successful event. Speaking at the post-match presentation after the second qualifier, Mushfiqur said, "I thank the BCB for organizing such a tournament during this epidemic. The concentration and professionalism of each team was great.”
Not only the efforts of BCB and teams, but also the dedication and performance of young cricketers has impressed Mushfiqur. Under his leadership, Dhaka was full of youth players. Mushfiqur believes that the youngsters will do well in the national team in the future by applying the lessons learned from this tournament.
“A lot of young players have come up in this tournament who can do well in T20. This is a very encouraging thing for Bangladesh cricket. Hopefully young cricketers can learn from their mistakes. They will play for Bangladesh for a long time by solving their mistakes while representing the country in the future,” Mushfiqur concluded.
