Australia have won the toss and elected to bowl first against Bangladesh in the Super Eight of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 group-stage match on Friday (June 21)at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound.
Bangladesh have named one change in the squad as spinner Mahedi Hasan comes in for Jaker Ali. On the other hand, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood
have returned to the squad after a rest in the last match of the group-stage against
Scotland. Ashton Agar and Nathan Ellis miss out because of this reason.
Bangladesh have won three and lost one match in the group-stage which consisted of South Africa, Sri Lanka, Netherlands and Nepal.
On the other hand, Australia won all their four matches in the group-stage against England, Scotland, Oman and Namibia.
This is the first match of the Super Eight stage for both the team. The other 2 opponents of the group are- India and Afghanistan.
