The legendary Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal had a heart attack while playing in a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) game on Monday. This shocked the cricket world. The event happened at BKSP Tamim, who was captaining Mohammedan Sporting Club against Shinepukur Cricket Club, had a terrible chest pain.

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) also expressed concern and support, posting, "Get well soon, Tamim Iqbal. The entire cricket fraternity is praying for you."
Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Bangladesh's Chief Adviser, has personally asked about Tamim's health, and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is in regular contact with his doctors.
Tamim is still in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) and is being closely watched by doctors. Doctors have told him to stay home and rest until he feels better.
