The health scare of Tamim Iqbal has shocked everyone in the cricket world.  Fans, former players, and international stars worldwide have joined together to pray for the former Bangladesh captain's health.  One of them, Pakistan's star batter Babar Azam, also sent his warmest wishes.

Babar posted on Instagram on March 25 at night, tagging Tamim's official account and writing, "Get well soon, Tamim Iqbal," with a prayer emoji.

Babar isn't the only one praying.  Cricketers from all over the world have shown their support and worry.  When Ahmed Shehzad, a former opener for Pakistan, heard about Tamim's health, he wrote, "Shocked to hear about my friend Tamim Iqbal’s health scare. Wishing him a speedy recovery and full strength ahead. My prayers are with you, Tamim Iqbal. Hope to see you back in action soon. Stay strong, brother!”

“Hearing scary reports about Tamim Bhai’s health,” wrote Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza in an emotional post.  “Sending prayers your way brother and May Allah grant you health and speedy recovery. In sha Allah you will be back with your loved ones smiling. Requesting prayers from everyone who sees this for Tamim Bhai’s health and recovery. Jazak Allah.”

Former Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwary showed his support for Tamim by saying, "You have to win this battle, my friend—just like the trademark Tamim Iqbal style! Get well soon, Tamim Iqbal!"

At the same time, Indian great Yuvraj Singh sent his best wishes, adding, "Sending my prayers and wishes to Tamim Iqbal and his family. You’ve faced tough opponents before and come out stronger, this will be no different. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Stay strong, champion.”

Sri Lankan stars like Lasith Malinga, Suranga Lakmal, and Dimuth Karunaratne also sent their thoughts and best wishes to help Tamim get better.

It was during a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match in BKSP on March 24 that the great Bangladesh cricket player had a huge heart attack.  His blocked artery was fixed with a stent at KPJ Hospital in Savar, where he was rushed right away.  Once his health got better, he was moved to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka on March 25 to get more care.
