Brothers Union Limited beat Partex Sporting Club by 29 runs in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) on Tuesday.  Brothers scored 225 runs as the first team to bat, but Partex were bowled out for 196 runs while trying to catch them.

Partex won the toss and chose to play bowl first in the match, which took place at BKSP Ground No. 3.  Brothers Union had a hard time because none of their batters got to fifty.  The player with the most runs was Zahiduzzaman Khan, who scored 47 runs off of 51 balls.  Sohag Gazi made a quick 42 off of 46 balls, and Mizanur Rahman added 34 off of 58 balls.

Mohor Sheikh, Tanvir Hossain, and Jawad Rowen all took two wickets for Partex.

In reply, Partex had a hard time right away and lost wickets quickly.  Their opening pair broke up after 29 runs, and by the time they got to 36, three wickets had already been lost.  The opener, Sabbir Rahman, only scored 18 runs off of 49 balls.  Partex were in a lot of trouble when they lost five wickets for just 62 runs.

Captain Alauddin Babu and Ahrar Amin gave a fight back.  Both players hit fifty runs, which brought the game back to life.  It took Babu only 46 balls to score 68 runs before he was out when his team had scored 178 runs.  With a fast 56 off 89 balls, Amin, on the other hand, fought hard.

Partex tried hard, but they couldn't finish the chase because they lost their last few wickets quickly and were knocked out for 196 runs.  Brothers Union won by 29 runs, which was a well-deserved win.

With the ball, Jayed Ullah was the best for Brothers. He took three wickets and was named Player of the Match.
