cricketer Ajay Jadeja opines that
(SRH) should rethink now about their playing XI and exclude Manish Pandey from the main team for the sake of the side.
SRH fell for another batting collapse against
(RCB) on Wednesday in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) as they failed to chase the target of 150 runs despite in a good position to win. They were restricted at 143/9 in 20 overs and lost the match by 6 runs.
Pandey played another slow innings of 38-run off 39 balls which was detrimental at last. He also played the same kind of slow innings in the last match against
(KKR) as he failed to hit any boundaries in the last 6 overs.
“I think there will be a rethink now. We were talking about Williamson before. In low-scoring matches, his value is redoubled. Now they will look for solid players who can finish games after getting settled. And I have no doubt that Manish Pandey might not play in the 11 from now on. You will witness some changes in this team and that’s natural as well,”
said Jadeja on Cricbuzz.
SRH will face
in their next match on April 17. They have lost their first two matches of this year’s IPL.
