West Indies hammered USA by 9 wickets and 55 balls to spare to come out on top after the heavy loss to England couple of nights ago. The win was setup by the bowlers as the spinners ran riot through USA batters to bundle them out for a meagre 128 runs. In reply, Shai Hope blasted his highest ever T20I score to thrash USA and boost West Indies' NRR.

West Indies are standing firmly on second position, credit to this crushing victory. 

USA lost Steven Taylor earlier but still had a decent powerplay, scoring 48-1 after the mandatory 6 over powerplay. Andries Gous and Nitish Kumar looked solid while batting but once the partnership was broken, USA crumbled infront of the venomous spin attack of West Indies.

Roston Chase pegged USA back with his economical three-fer, while Russell too stepped up and picked up three wickets.

Andries Gous top scored for USA as he made a quick-fire 29 off 16 balls.

With the modest target on the board, West Indies gave an eye to their NRR and tried to boost it up like the skyrockets. Their auxiliary opener Shai Hope, who came in to replace injured Brandon King made the most of his opportunity as he registered his highest T20I indvidual score.

He attacked Kenjige and Ali Khan in the powerplay and raced his way to fifty in literally no time. His partner, Johnson Charles tried to get going but holed out to Harmeet Singh. But this didn't stop Windies' onslaught.

Hope bludgeoned hat trick of sixes to Milind Kumar and killed the game there. Shai Hope was unbeaten on 82* off only 39 deliveries, which included 8 maximums and 4 boundaries. While Pooran also flexed his muscles, smacking a blazing 27* off 12 balls to help Windies thump USA.
