England drubbed USA by 10 wickets to reach to the semi-final of ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 on Sunday (23rd June) at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. Chris Jordan picked up a hat-trick, with Adil Rashid had another superb spell to restrict USA to a modest total of 115 on the board. In reply, Jos Buttler hammered an unbeaten 83* off 38 deliveries, where he bludgeoned Harmeet Singh for 5 sixes in an over to kill the chase with more than 10 overs to spare.

Opting to bowl first, England were right on the money from the very beginning. USA were steadily going and steering the ship, after the powerplay they scored 48-2, but England brought their venomous spin duo afterwards. Adil Rashid and Liam Livingstone combined a spectacular spell to leave USA in tatters.

At the backend of the innings, Chris Jordan picked up a hat-trick and ripped through USA batting lineup and also restricted them to a paltry 115 on the board.

In reply, Jos Buttler startef to tee off from the very start, smashing the USA bowlers at black and blue. 116 was a slim target for England and Buttler was on fire. Buttler's 5 sixes in an over to Harmeet Singh, included 4 sixes on the trot headlined the innings, where he brutally demolished USA and took his side to the semi-final of ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024.

Jos Buttler was unbeaten on 83* off only 38 deliveries, where he was associated by Phil Salt's second fiddle knock of 25* off 21 deliveries. England now becomes the first team to reach to the semi-final.
