England crushed Netherlands by 160 runs on Wednesday (8th November). Ben Stokes maiden world cup hundred helped them post 339. On thr contrast, Moeen and Rashid shared 3 wickets each and scrapped Netherlands for only 179 to have a win of 160 runs.

Earlier, England won the toss and chose to bat first. Coming out to bat, Dawid Malan started off to a flier. He was dealing in boundaries and there was no sign of stopping. Johny Bairstow fell to Aryan Dutt on 15. But Malan kept the scoreboard ticking. He raced to 87 off only 74 balls before being run out. Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali ran through the middle and lower order of Netherlands as they bundled them out for a paltry 179 runs to have a massive margin of victory 160 runs.
