With Gautam Gambhir recently hired as India's head coach, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is now looking for the national team's next bowling coach. According to ANI, former Indian seamers Zaheer Khan and Lakshmipathy Balaji are the leading contenders for the post.
The BCCI has also bid farewell to the previous coaching staff, including batting coach Vikram Rathour, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, and fielding coach T Dilip. In a statement on their website, the BCCI expressed gratitude for their contributions:
"The Board also congratulates Mr. Paras Mhambrey (Bowling Coach), Mr T. Dilip (Fielding Coach), and Mr Vikram Rathour (Batting Coach) on a highly successful tenure. The BCCI values their contribution and wishes them the best going forward."
