6 Bangladesh cricketers in PSL draft's gold category
There are 6 Bangladeshi cricketers in the gold category. They are Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Nasum Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Afif Hossain and Muktar Ali. It was seen that Shakib Al Hasan is in the highest-paid platinum category in the list published earlier. Mahmudullah Riyad, Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taskin Ahmed, and Tamim Iqbal are in the second highest-paid diamond category.
458 cricketers from 22 countries have registered their names in the draft for the upcoming season of PSL. There are 46 people in the platinum category, and 76 cricketers have got a place in the diamond category. Shakib is the only cricketer from Bangladesh in the highest-paid platinum category.
Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh played for Peshawar Zalmi in the last season of PSL. Shakib regularly plays in franchise leagues around the world. He played several times in PSL as well. The PSL draft will be held on December 13 at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. The reigning champions of the tournament are Lahore Qalandars.
