Cumilla Victorians thumped Chattogram Challengers by a massive margin of 73 runs on Tuesday (13th February) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram. Will Jacks magnificent 108 off only 53 deliveries thumped Chattogram Challengers. While Litton Das' 60 off 31 balls also helped them to do the job.
BanEarlier, Chattogram Challengers won the toss and opted to bowl first. After being put into bat first, Litton Das and Will Jacks put on a show and teared apart the Chattogram Challengers bowling lineup. Litton Das took no time to take up the bowlers and started to go berserk. The powerplay saw 62 runs without a wicket being fallen. The opening stand gone for 86 runs before Litton Das got out to Shohidul Islam after a blistering 60 off only 31 deliveries.
But there was no stopping of Will Jacks. He smacked them everywhere of the park and was nearing to his hundred. He reached to his hundred off only 53 balls and made a solid 108 off only 53 deliveries. At the backend of the innings, Moeen Ali's blitzkrieg 53 off 24 balls took CV to 239 runs.
Climbing the mountain, Chattogram started well as Tanzid Hasan and Josh Brown took the full advantage of powerplay.
