In the second round of the National Cricket League (NCL), Dhaka Metro claimed a decisive 10-wicket win over Rajshahi, wrapping up the match within two days. Spinner Rakibul Hasan took a sensational 8-wicket haul, while Sabbir Hossain smashed a rapid fifty. Anamul Haque Bijoy and Soumya Sarkar also showcased half-centuries for Metro.

The game, held at BKSP’s Ground 4, saw Dhaka Metro comfortably chasing down an 11-run target. Dhaka Metro started the second day at 138/5, building their first innings to 233 runs with a well-crafted 64 from Shamsur Rahman. Abu Hider Rony contributed a quick 43* off 59 balls, while Rajshahi’s Sanzamul Islam took three wickets.

With a 156-run lead, Rajshahi’s response struggled. Apart from Sabbir Hossain’s rapid 78 off 56 balls, no other batter established an innings, ending their second innings at 166 runs. Dhaka Metro reached the required target in just 2.1 overs to secure the win.
