Travis Head joins Washington Freedom for Major League Cricket 2024
Head will be playing for Washington Freedom with his own Aussie teammate, Steve Smith who recently joined the franchise. Both of them will have Aussie great Ricky Ponting as their coach.

Australia's star Travis Head has joined Washington Freedom along with his teammate Steve Smith to play the upcoming Major League Cricket 2024.
The 30 year old flamboyant southpaw doesn't want to take rest, rather he chose to sign with Washington Freedom to play the upcoming MLC 2024. Head is currently playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL and will be one of the forces of the upcoming T20 world cup for Australia. Now he has chosen to continue his 2024 playing after signing with Washington.
Head is having a great time in IPL as he amassed 102 runs in just 3 matches for SRH at an average of 34 and a jaw dropping strike rate of 192.45.
Australia doesn't have any international schedule aftermath of the T20 world cup until a white-ball tour with their arch-rivals England in September. Head will be playing for Washington Freedom with his own Aussie teammate, Steve Smith who recently joined the franchise a week ago. Both of them will have Aussie great Ricky Ponting as their coach.
