The Trinbago Knight Riders have announced the signing of England's Jason Roy and Australia's Tim David for the upcoming CPL 2024. The franchise confirmed these additions along with its retention list on Monday.

David has previously played for the St Lucia Kings in the Caribbean Premier League, bringing valuable experience to the Trinbago Knight Riders. Meanwhile, Jason Roy was initially signed with the Knight Riders' IPL franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), for the IPL 2024 season. However, he withdrew from the squad before the start of the season. These strategic additions are expected to strengthen the Trinbago Knight Riders' lineup for the upcoming CPL 2024, reflecting the franchise's commitment to bringing in top-tier talent.

TKR has additionally acquired the talents of Afghanistan spinner Waqar Salamkheil and Ireland left-arm seamer Josh Little. Furthermore, USA international Ali Khan will make a comeback to the franchise for another edition.

Among the local talent, TKR has chosen to retain the majority of the core players who played a crucial role in reaching the 2023 finale. Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, and Nicholas Pooran are among those set to return for the Trinidad franchise. With 15 confirmed players, the team will finalize the two remaining slots during the draft in July.
