In the press conference after the match, Clive Madande of Zimbabwe said, “I think it was a bit difficult to bat early on. The ball was moving. Taskin and Saifuddin bowled really well upfront. And the phase like that was tough. And afterwards, the ball was coming to bat nicely. We should have more careful in the first 30 minutes and then we could take the game further.”
Madande added, “Obviously it was good toss to win. Bangladesh fought very well and we lost more wickets than we should have. And from then, we couldn’t pick ourselves. And I thought Bangladesh started off well with the ball and we lost too many wickets than we expected.”
Bangladesh lead the five-match T20I series by 1-0. The next T20I will take place on May 5.
