Bangladesh vs Windies three-match ODI series kicks off on Sunday in Mirpur. Here are some of the statistics before building up to the series.

Bangladesh managed to win nine of them while the Caribbeans won 20 matches. The teams have played eight bilateral ODI series where Bangladesh won three against Windies' five. The recent series in the Caribbean was won by the Tigers 2-1. Highest totals: 338/7 is the highest total in Bangladesh-Windies ODIs. Windies posted this total in Basseterre in 2014. In 1999, they made 314/6. Bangladesh made 301/6 in Basseterre this year. These are only three 300-plus totals in ODIs between them. Lowest totals: The infamous 58 is the lowest total by Bangladesh against Windies. They had this humiliation during 2011 World Cup in Dhaka. Later that year, Windies crumbled to 61 all out in Chattogram. Bangladesh made 70 in St George's four years back. Margin of wins (runs): The previous series saw the lowest margin of victory in Bangladesh-Windies ODIs. Windies won by 3 runs as they defended 271 in Providence this year. On the contrary, 177 is the largest margin, also by Windies in St George's in 2014 while defending 247. Most runs: Chris Gayle is the leading run-scorer with 661 runs in 21 matches. Tamim Iqbal is second to him with 623 runs in 19 ODIs. Besides, Mushfiqur Rahim has 615 (in 19 matches), Marlon Samuels 533 (13 matches) and Shakib Al Hasan 412 (12 matches). Tamim's centuries came in Providence (130*) and Basseterre (103) this year. Most wickets: Kemar Roach holds the record with 28 scalps in 13 ODIs including two five-fors. Abdur Razzak has 19 in 15 matches and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza 18 in 12 ODIs. Most dismissals: Mushfiqur Rahim has the most number of wicket-keeping dismissals - 23 (19 catches and 4 stumpings). Ridley Jacobs has 20 (15 catches and 5 stumpings).
