South Africa have announced their squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, commences from first June in the USA and the Caribbeans. Aiden Markram will lead the protean side for this gala tournament. 

Wk-batter Quinton De Kock and paceman Anrich Nortje have got the call for the showpiece event. De Kock previously was axed from South Africa's contract list, while Nortje missed entire 2023 Cricket season due to a back injury. Ryan Rickelton and Ottniel Baartman have got rewards for their stunning performances in the recent SA20 tournament and are the two uncapped T20I players in the squad. 

South Africa squad: Aiden Markram (c), Ottniel Baartman, Gerald Coetzee, Quinton de Kock, Bjorn Fortuin, Reeza Hendricks, Marco Jansen, Heinrich Klaasen, Keshav Maharaj, David Miller, Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, Ryan Rickelton, Tabraiz Shamsi, Tristan Stubbs.

Travelling reserves: Nandre Burger and Lungi Ngidi.

South Africa will outset their T20 World Cup campaign on 3rd June, against Sri Lanka in New York. South Africa got Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Netherlands and Nepal in their group D.

South Africa are the second team to announce the T20 World Cup's squad, New Zealand announced the squad as the first team on Monday (29th April). Both of them also unveiled their kits for the mega event.
